Level 1 (Ayanam) is suitable for children beginning school, Level 2 for the children in the second year of school and so on. Parental help is necessary until the child gains a sufficient level of familiarity with the subject.
Level 1 – अयनम् (Ayanam)
अयनम् (Ayanam) This book is ideal for teaching basics of devanāgarī-lipi (initial introduction to various letters) to children. This book also contains a few gītāni (songs) and a kathā (story).

Level 2 – सारिणी (Sāriṇī)
Sāriṇī (सारिणी) is ideal for teaching 2nd level devanāgarī-lipi (specifically Guṇitākṣārāṇi) to children, once they are comfortable with the lessons in Ayanam. This book also contains basic pronouns, a few gītāni (songs) and a kathā (story).

Level 3 – प्रपद्या (Prapadyā)
Prapadyā (प्रपद्या) is ideal for teaching devanāgarī-lipi (specifically Saṁyuktākṣarāṇi) to children, once they are comfortable with the lessons in Ayanam & Sāriṇī. It also contains basic first, second and third person nouns, a few gītāni (songs), samayaḥ (telling the time), and a rūpakam (drama).

Level 4 – सुपदा (Supadā)
Supadā (सुपदा) is ideal for starting basic grammar to children, once they are comfortable with the lessons in Ayanam, Sāriṇī & Prapadyā. It contains lessons explaining vacanam (grammatical number), liṅga (grammatical genders), a few gītāni (songs), saṅkhyāḥ (counting), and a few subhāṣitāni (proverbial verses) with explanations.

Level 5 – सुषमा (Suṣamā)
Suṣamā (सुषमा) is the fifth book in the series containing more advanced vibhaktis, loṭ lakāra, higher saṅkhyās, etc., for use by children who are comfortable with the lessons in Ayanam, Sāriṇī, Prapadyā & Supadā.

Level 6 – सुभाशा (Subhāṣā)
Subhāṣā (सुभाषा) is the sixth book in the series containing lessons on lṛt lakāra, loṭ lakāra, use of saha & vinā, more lessons on vibhaktis, avyayas, pratyayas such as ktvā, tumun, and a few songs, kathā etc., for use by children who are comfortable with the lessons in Ayanam, Sāriṇī, Prapadyā, Supadā & Suṣamā.
