Read these Shlokas, as a child in a temple in Haridwar. Unfortunately today’s populace has chosen to ignore these. Fuelled by the life style demands and a cut-throat competition for accessing the maximum for self has driven nearly all to forget.
About 35 years ago in a Buddhist monastery, in China, a monk taught me a couplet, that stayed quite close to my heart, it said “the generation that ignores it’s older people will soon see degeneration to the extent that it will degenenerate into a geriatric society, incapable of progress”.
May Lord save us from going that lane!
